Translatigo vs. Palabra: Pricing Model Comparison

Translatigo charges a flat $0.07 per minute with a free 20-minute trial. Palabra prices its meeting plans in monthly hour bundles: $60 for 3 hours, $150 for 10 hours, and $500 for 50 hours, with a custom tier above that. Same category of product, two different ways of billing for it.

What each plan actually buys

Palabra's Starter plan is $60 a month for 3 hours of usage, which works out to about $20 an hour. Move up to Pro at $150 a month for 10 hours and the rate drops to $15 an hour. The Team plan is $500 a month for 50 hours, bringing it down to $10 an hour — the lowest self-serve rate Palabra offers before its Business tier, which is custom-quoted for larger organizations. Translatigo doesn't have this ladder: $0.07 per minute works out to $4.20 an hour, flat, whether you use 3 hours or 300.

Where the bundled model helps — and where it doesn't

If your usage is predictable and matches a Palabra tier closely, the per-hour cost narrows the gap with Translatigo, especially at the Team tier. The catch is the bundle itself: hours you don't use in a given month are hours you paid for and didn't get, and going over your allotment means either an overage charge or bumping up to the next tier early. Translatigo's per-minute model has no bundle to outgrow or underuse — you pay for exactly what you talk.

Current limitations

Palabra's published tiers cover its meetings and presentations use case specifically; its event and livestream plans are priced separately, and its top Business tier for either category isn't published — that one requires talking to sales for a quote sized to your volume.
